I’m Katie and I can’t go beyond telling you what my first name is because I really just want to keep this blog separate from my official work in the financial industry.
It may be hard to understand why I want to be anonymous but the truth is that I enjoy working for one of the bigger financial institutions in London, but I feel as if I’m not being challenged enough at times, even though it gets really hectic at work. That’s essentially how Payday Dawg was conceived, making for a nice platform for me to perhaps explore the world of commerce beyond the scope of my professional work and luckily for you, Payday Dawg is my outlet!

So why Payday Dawg?
Well, I hope this won’t give away who I am exactly, but the phrase “It’s payday, dawg” has been doing the rounds at the office as an internal joke. People tend to get happy only around payday, so I thought it would be nice to blog about some of the many different avenues people can explore in the financial sector to perhaps work at breaking free from a dependence on payday.
